Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 6, 2026

ProfitAI Consulting ("ProfitAI", "we" or "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through profitai.ca, why we collect it and how we protect it. We follow British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and, where it applies, Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Information we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us:

When you visit the site, our hosting and security provider automatically processes basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. This is used to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We also use Google Analytics to see how visitors use the site, such as pages viewed, approximate location and the device used. This information is aggregated and is not used to identify you. We do not use advertising trackers or sell your information.

How we use your information

We only use your information for these purposes or for purposes you agree to. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information.

Consent

By sending a form, booking a time or emailing us, you consent to us using your information as described in this policy. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us. Withdrawing consent may mean we cannot provide a service you asked for.

Newsletter

Our newsletter is sent about once a month with examples of small and mid-sized businesses using AI. We only send it to people who signed up. Every issue includes a way to unsubscribe, or you can email [email protected] and we will remove you.

Service providers we use

We use trusted service providers to run this website and our business. They only process your information to provide their service to us:

Some of these providers may store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States. When that happens, your information may be subject to the laws of that country and may be accessed by its courts or authorities.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law. Enquiries that do not become client work are deleted within 24 months. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe.

How we protect information

We use reasonable security measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and reputable service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days, as required by PIPA.

Questions or concerns

Our privacy contact can be reached at [email protected]. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia at oipc.bc.ca.
